Full job description

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS POSITION.

We are a local company providing a care at home service as an alternative to moving into a Nursing Home. Enabling people to remain at home helps them maintain personal independence and contact with their local community.

ROLE-

-We are recruiting for a FULL TIME carer to join our team working within DUNKELD, Perthshire.

-The shifts that we require staff for are morning and evening shifts. Those shifts will be 0700-1300/1400 and 1600/1700- 2100/2200. We do ask everyone that works with us to have availability to work with us every 2nd weekend.

-We assist our clients with the daily activities of living, this includes...

- Personal hygiene.

-Meal preparation.

-Assistance with medications.

- We can also assist clients to get out and about, attend appointments etc.

BENEFITS-

-When working with us you will be provided with a CONTRACT. All CONTRACTS include HOLIDAY PAY.

-We will provide you with some of the BEST RATES OF PAY within the Care industry. You will be paid a flat rate, 7 days per week.

-We will PAY YOU FROM THE START UNTIL THE END of your shift INCLUSIVE OF UNAVOIDABLE GAPS. We will also PAY YOUR MILEAGE FOR ANY TRAVEL UNDERTAKEN DURING YOUR SHIFT.

-Experience is not essential as all staff are provided with a fully comprehensive induction followed by on the job supervision until confident and competent.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: Caring and kind nature . Experience preferred but not essential.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS ARE PROVIDED WITH:

  • A fully comprehensive Induction
  • Moving & Handling Training
  • Paid annual leave equivalent to 5.6 weeks (pro rata to hours worked)

Opportunity to complete SVQ 2 & 3 qualification in Social Services and Healthcare
