Community Care Assistant Job in Isle of Wight


£13.97 to £16.69 per hour.


Shift pattern

We have multiple clients across the IOW:

Cowes:

Monday 07:30 - 13:30, Friday 07:30 - 17:30 | Alternate Saturdays 07:30 - 13:30, Alternate Sundays 12:30 - 17:30 (Female Staff)

Newport:
Alternate Saturdays 08.00-17.00 every Sunday 08.00-17.00 / Alternate Fridays 08.00-21.30 (Female Staff)

Newport:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 07:30 - 15:30 (Female Staff)

Ryde:

Wednesdays - 11:00-18:00 (Female Staff)

About the role

These are long term, consistent placements supporting one client in their own home and within the community.


Your responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support.
  • Assist with an exercise programme and mobility needs.
  • Prepare meals and drinks.
  • Support with light administrative tasks.
  • Drive and accompany the client to work and community activities.
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.

What you need

  • At least three months of paid UK care experience, or relevant personal care experience.
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
