Job Overview

We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to provide high-quality support to adults and elderly people. The role involves assisting individuals with their daily activities, promoting independence, maintaining dignity and providing practical and emotional support.

Key Duties

  • Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
  • Assist with meals, mobility, medication support and other agreed care needs.
  • Promote independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times.
  • Provide companionship and encourage participation in appropriate activities.
  • Monitor and report changes in an individual's health, wellbeing or behaviour.
  • Complete care records and other required documentation accurately.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and care procedures.
  • Work professionally with colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Previous care or support work experience is desirable but not always essential.
  • A caring, patient and respectful approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
  • Willingness to complete required training and follow company policies.
