Pharmacy Dispenser – Tiverton

Location: Tiverton
Hours: 35 - 40 hrs per week (Monday–Friday)

Matrix Pharmacy Group is looking for an ambitious, patient-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly pharmacy branch in Tiverton. This is an ideal role for someone keen to develop their career, gain new clinical skills and move towards advanced positions such as Accuracy Checker or Technician.

What you’ll do

  • Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Counsel patients on safe use of medicines and provide excellent counter service.
  • Manage stock, date checking and CD records to GPhC standards.
  • Train in, and deliver, blood-pressure checks and vaccination services (flu, travel, COVID) once accredited.
  • Support service campaigns (Pharmacy First, NMS, weight management) to meet branch KPIs.
  • Assist with general retail duties, merchandising and telephone queries.

About you

  • NVQ2 / Level 2 dispensing qualification (or equivalent) preferred; trainees with retail pharmacy experience will be considered.
  • Confident communicator with a passion for patient care.
  • Organised, accurate and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Ambitious and willing to undertake further training (BP Checks, Vaccinations, NVQ3).
