About the Role
Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield is looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to join our growing team.
As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes while building genuine, long-term relationships with the clients you support.
Whether you're an experienced Care Assistant or looking for a rewarding new career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Your Responsibilities
As a Home Care Assistant, your duties will include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with medication
- Preparing meals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
- Working closely with clients, their families and the wider Radfield team
- Maintaining accurate care records

Working Pattern
We have a range of permanent opportunities available, including:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- Early Bird shifts
- Mixed morning and evening shifts
To provide continuity for our clients, all Care Professionals work a variety of shifts across a two-week rolling rota.
We're particularly keen to hear from applicants who can work a mixture of mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.
Essential Requirements
Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Daily access to your own vehicle
- Availability to work a mixture of shifts, including mornings or evenings and alternate weekends
- Female applicant due to specific client requirements
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
Previous experience in care is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
