As a Care Assistant with Fitzpatrick Home Care, you will make a meaningful difference every day. You will support customers with practical care, companionship and reassurance, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe, valued and respected.

Previous care experience is not essential. What matters most is that you are kind, reliable, patient and genuinely committed to helping others. We will provide the training, support and guidance you need to feel confident in your role and to build a rewarding career in care.

What you will do:

Provide warm, respectful companionship to customers in their own homes.

Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.

Assist with mobility, helping customers move safely and confidently.

Administer or support with medication in line with individual care plans.

Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.

Support with essential errands, including food shopping and collecting prescriptions.

Provide calm, considerate support that helps customers feel cared for, listened to and valued.

What we are looking for:

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

The Right to Work in the UK.

A caring, adaptable and people-focused approach.

A willingness to learn and develop. No previous care experience is required.

Reliability, compassion and the confidence to support people with dignity and respect.

Why join Fitzpatrick Home Care?

Competitive pay from £12.44 to £14.60 per hour.

Paid mileage of 45p per mile between calls.

Refer-a-friend bonus, with the opportunity to earn up to £100.

Direct employment with paid holiday and pension.

Training, development and recognised care qualifications, including the Care Certificate and NVQ routes.

Free Blue Light Card, giving access to hundreds of discounts.

Flexible shift patterns to support a healthy work-life balance.

Annual pay reviews aligned with the cost of living.

This role requires availability to work alternate weekends as part of a rota. Applicants who are unable to work weekends may not be suitable for this position.

At Fitzpatrick Home Care, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and consider all applicants fairly and equally.

If you are kind, dependable and want to make a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
