Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum
Location: Milestones Museum and Basing House, Basingstoke
Hours: 37 hours per week with evening and weekend work

Are you a dynamic, commercially focused operations manager looking to deliver in a unqiue heritage venue?

As Assistant General Manager, you will lead the operational delivery and visitor experience across the Arc. You will inspire the visitor experience team to deliver impeccable customer service, maximising the visitor experience and taking advantage of the exciting commercial opportunities, to meet ambitious income targets and KPIs across front of house, events, and retail. You will be ensuring a safe, compliant operation alongside fantastic visitor experiences.

A bit about you

You’ll have experience of operational management in a public-facing venue and be skilled at balancing competing priorities. You’ll be an enthusiastic, commercial manager who puts customer service at the heart of everything you do relishing the opportunity to lead operations at Hampshire Cultural Trust’s largest public venue, The Arc. Your strong financial and commercial acumen will allow you to inspire your team to achieve customer focused and financial target allowing you to develop and maintain a diverse high performing team. A passion for history is a big plus and you will be comfortable wearing appropriate costumes for the museums’ time period.
