As part of the wider OS Group, we partner with leading UK and international organisations to identify and secure senior leaders who shape strategy, drive innovation, and deliver long‑term commercial success.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking ambitious graduates and early‑career professionals to join our Leeds team as Executive Search Consultants. Whether you’re a recent graduate, someone with sales or client‑facing experience, or a recruiter looking to step into executive search, this scheme offers a fast‑track route into a high‑impact, commercial career.

The Role

As an Executive Search Consultant, you will work on senior‑level recruitment and advisory projects, gaining early exposure to influential stakeholders and complex business challenges. This is a 360° executive search role, combining research, consulting, commercial strategy, and relationship management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with clients to understand their business goals and long‑term talent strategies
  • Researching, identifying, and engaging senior professionals across specialist markets
  • Conducting in‑depth interviews and candidate assessments
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from briefing to offer negotiation and placement
  • Building long‑term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Developing deep sector expertise and becoming a trusted advisor

This is a commercial, people‑focused role offering clear progression, high earning potential, and early responsibility.

Training & Development

Development is at the heart of Oakburn Samuel’s culture. Every consultant receives the support, structure, and coaching needed to succeed.

You will benefit from:

  • A structured training programme covering research, consulting, communication, and commercial skills
  • Ongoing mentorship from experienced leaders across the OS Group
  • Access to the OS Group Academy, our tailored Learning & Development platform
  • A clear progression pathway into senior consulting or management roles

Whether you’re starting your career or aiming for leadership, we provide the tools and environment to accelerate your growth.

We’re Looking For Individuals Who Demonstrate:

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking
  • Confidence in written and verbal communication
  • Motivation to succeed in a performance‑driven environment
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
  • Curiosity about how businesses operate and what drives commercial success

Experience in sales, recruitment, research, or client‑facing roles is beneficial but not essential.

Why Join Oakburn Samuel?

  • Exceptional earning potential – industry‑leading commission structure (up to 60% of fees); top performers earn £100,000+
  • Outstanding incentives – Michelin‑star dining, high‑energy team events (go‑karting, paintball), and international trips including Ibiza, Barcelona, Las Vegas, Méribel, and Sardinia
  • High‑performance, supportive culture – collaborative, ambitious, and merit‑driven
  • Clear progression – promotions based on performance, not tenure
