Job Introduction

Support Worker

Pay rate: £14.18- £15.23 per hour
Shift Pattern: 08.00- 20.00 (days), 20.00-08.00 (sleep nights)

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker. To join our dedicated team, providing 2:1 support to a bright and joyful lady who lives in their own home in Truro. She has Autism, Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities, or behaviours that challenge and requires round‑the‑clock care, delivered by a consistent and understanding team.
This is a rewarding role supporting a young person who brings a lot of happiness, warmth, and personality to those around her.

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience with children, non‑verbal communication, or complex needs is helpful but not essential.
  • You should be kind, patient, caring, reliable, consistent and confident in your role
  • Willing to learn child‑specific communication cues.
  • Happy to engage in sensory, creative, and play‑based activities.
  • Comfortable working within the family home
  • Able to work as part of a small, stable team.
