The Supervisor Caretaker at Mitie is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning, caretaking, and basic maintenance operations across client sites such as schools, offices, or public facilities.

The role involves supervising a team of cleaners and caretakers, allocating tasks, preparing schedules, and ensuring staff performance meets agreed service standards.

The Supervisor Caretaker ensures that all areas of the premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained by conducting regular inspections, supporting hands-on duties when required, and reporting any maintenance issues.

A key part of the role is ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH and fire safety standards, while promoting safe working practices among staff.

The position also involves managing cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring proper usage and storage. In addition, the Supervisor Caretaker acts as a point of contact for clients, addressing concerns professionally and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Administrative responsibilities include maintaining records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and incidents, and reporting updates to management.

This role requires strong leadership, good communication skills, knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety regulations, and the ability to manage both people and daily operations effectively in a fast-paced environment
