Bartender – Cask Whisky Bar | Grand Cayman

Join the Caribbean's Premier Whisky Bar

Cask Whisky Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, professional bartender to join our team in Grand Cayman. If you're passionate about exceptional hospitality, enjoy creating memorable guest experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a bartender at Cask, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and serving a wide range of premium spirits, classic cocktails, wines, beers, and, of course, whisky!

You'll help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
  • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service.
  • Recommend drinks and make personalised suggestions based on guest preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, equipment, and service areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous bartending experience in a quality bar, restaurant, or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and modern drink preparation.
  • Whisky knowledge is preferred, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
