Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our Yahso family. You will be the face behind the bar, crafting classic cocktails, Caribbean-inspired drinks, and delivering a warm, unforgettable customer experience. Ideal candidates have strong mixology skills, a friendly personality, and a passion for Jamaican culture and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly “Yahso!” and provide exceptional service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Jamaican rum-based cocktails, tropical drinks, and house specialties.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the bar menu, including seasonal and signature drinks.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Uphold all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
• Engage with guests, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Assist in bar opening and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a fast-paced or Caribbean-themed environment.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with Jamaican culture, drinks, and ingredients is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
