CHIPPIE by Jam Delish | BOXHALL Liverpool Street
£15 per hour
8-Week Pop-Up: 5 October – 30 November 2026

We’re looking for energetic, reliable and friendly people to join the team for our exciting 8-week pop-up at BOXHALL Liverpool Street.

The pop-up will be the launch of CHIPPIE by Jam Delish, our new concept bringing together classic British chippie favourites with bold Caribbean flavours, all completely plant-based.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role, so we’re looking for people who are happy working across both the kitchen and front of house. One part of your shift could involve prepping and making food, while another could see you serving customers, taking orders and working on the tills.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing ingredients and assisting with food prep
  • Making and assembling dishes to our recipes and standards
  • Keeping kitchen and preparation areas clean and organised
  • Taking customer orders and operating the till
  • Serving food and providing friendly, efficient customer service
  • Answering basic questions about the menu
  • Restocking and helping keep the unit running smoothly
  • Working closely with the rest of the team during busy service periods
  • Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures

Experience

We are ideally looking for applicants with previous experience in hospitality, fast food, street food, restaurants, cafés or a similar food-service environment.

Experience in either kitchen prep/cooking or customer service/till work is important, and experience across both areas would be a real advantage.

You should be comfortable working at pace, following recipes and instructions, handling food safely and speaking confidently with customers.

We are also open to applicants with less experience who can demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn.

There may also be opportunities for ongoing work with Jam Delish following the pop-up for team members who perform well.
