Kitchen Staff / Grill Cook

Location: Sheffield – Cambridge Street Collective

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

About Us

Sunrise Caribbean is a growing Caribbean food collective known for delivering authentic Caribbean cuisine and excellent customer service. We are proud to be one of the most popular Caribbean food brands in Manchester, with successful locations in Salford, Salford Quays, Openshaw, and Sheffield.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and hardworking Kitchen Staff / Grill Cooks to join our Sheffield team.

Job Overview

This is a hands-on kitchen role ideal for someone with strong grill experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking and preparing food to Sunrise Caribbean standards
  • Operating and managing the grill
  • Taking customer orders at the counter when required
  • Preparing orders quickly and accurately
  • Maintaining high food quality and presentation
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised at all times
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Assisting with stock rotation and preparation tasks
  • Working efficiently during busy periods

Essential Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or chef experience
  • Strong grill experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
