Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Chef to join our kitchen team at Blackpool's Best Western Carlton Hotel. If you have two or more years' experience, take pride in cooking quality food, and like being part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, paid at £12.80 per hour, plus benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing, cooking and serving food for our hotel guests
  • Delivering a great dining experience that meets customer expectations
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
  • Following food safety and hygiene procedures, including correct stock rotation
  • Working confidently on your own during breakfast service and as part of a team when required
  • Offering flexibility to cover evening shifts when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar kitchen role
  • A genuine passion for working in a kitchen and delivering quality food
  • A good communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
  • High standards of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail
  • A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic

About The Hotel

Best Western Carlton Blackpool is set on the North Promenade by Pleasant Street tram stop. The restaurant offers views across the Fylde Coast and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, Afternoon Tea and some private events.
