Full job description

Duties

  • Measure, cut, assemble and install wooden frameworks, fixtures and fittings using hand and power tools.
  • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, kitchen, door and window installation and finishing touches.
  • Conduct repairs or modifications on existing structures ensuring safety standards are maintained.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Current clean driving licence.
  • Proven experience as a joiner
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers and screwdrivers.
  • Skilled in operating power tools including drill, sanders, saws and grinders.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and building regulations relevant to this type of work.

Pay: £16.66-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
