Overview

We are seeking a skilled Multi-trade Carpenter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set across various trades, enabling them to undertake a wide range of tasks including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, Fire door maintenance, This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals eager to utilise their diverse expertise in a fast-paced environment, contributing to high-quality building projects. Duties

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install structural and architectural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
  • Perform joinery tasks including fitting doors, windows, and cabinetry with precision.
  • Conduct roofing repairs or installations ensuring durability and weather resistance.
  • Assist with plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installations.
  • Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
  • Participate in construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply finishes.
  • Undertake heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support various project phases.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry with additional skills in fabrication, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work preferred.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised construction equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or on scaffolding as required.
  • Knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols within the construction industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or related trades are desirable but not essential if accompanied by substantial practical experience.
  • A proactive approach with good communication skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence is preferred for site access or transportation of materials.
