Full job description

Asletts Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is confident managing their own working day. You will attend a range of repair and maintenance jobs, often completing several appointments each day.

We are looking for more than someone who is simply good with their hands. The right person will be organised, resourceful and able to assess a problem, find a practical solution and see the job through to completion.

THE ROLE

You will carry out a wide range of responsive repairs, maintenance and minor improvement works, including:

  • General plumbing repairs and installations
  • Carpentry, including doors, locks, skirting boards and associated repairs
  • Basic electrical works within your level of competence
  • Kitchen and bathroom repairs
  • Minor plastering, decorating and making good
  • Flooring repairs and replacement
  • General property maintenance
  • Diagnosing faults and resolving problems efficiently
  • Completing multiple jobs and customer appointments during the working day
  • Keeping customers and the office updated on progress
  • Taking photographs and accurately recording completed works

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes responsibility for organising their work and completing jobs properly

  • Holds a full UK driving licence
