Experienced Cabinet Painter (Subcontractor)

Cotswolds, Bristol, Bath, London & Surrounding Areas

Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced subcontract cabinet painters to join our team on a regular basis.

We specialise in the installation and finishing of high-end, handmade shaker kitchens and are seeking painters with proven experience in cabinet and joinery finishing.

This is not general decorating work. Our painters are responsible for preparing and finishing bespoke handmade cabinetry to an exceptional standard within clients' homes.

The Role

  • Preparation, sanding and finishing of bespoke shaker-style cabinetry
  • Application of top coats to newly installed kitchens
  • Carrying out touch-ups and snagging where required
  • Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
  • Representing the company professionally in clients' homes

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience painting kitchen cabinetry or bespoke joinery
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High standards of preparation and finishing
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, professional and well-presented
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Own professional tools and equipment, including:
  • Quality electric sanders
  • M-Class dust extraction system
  • Appropriate spray equipment (where applicable)
  • Standard painting and protection equipment
