Overview

Contract type- Full Time, Permanent, on the books

Working week - mon-fri, 8am-5pm

Salary range- from 30500 to 34000 (depending on skill level and experience) will be negotiable of proof of skills

Overtime is available

Flood Divert Ltd is an innovative market leader. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke, high quality Flood doors, Flood gates and much more which we install nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for you to join our brilliant team of highly skilled craftspeople as a skilled joiner/carpenter. We are mainly looking for someone with bench joinery skills using machines but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate. You may also get the chance to work on site where your skills will be used to help customers improve there homes and properties.

Your day to day responsibilities

Key parts of the role include overseeing and producing high quality work withing agreed timescales, problem-solving and maximising efficiencies, as well as ensuring work practices are fully compliant with our health and safety policies. Excellent communication is required for both clients and the team as well as the safe use, storage and maintenance of property, machinery and equipment.

Our perfect candidate will also have the following skills...

Essential

• proven experience and knowledge of joinery skills, ideally including using machines, but with basic knowledge training will be given on the machines
• Full, clean driving license

Desirable

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Relevant industry qualifications are an advantage, but not essential- we are more about your determination to maintain the highest standards of work, and the enthusiasm and energy you can bring to our company in a multi-tasking, physically demanding role.
