Full job description
Job Description: We are currently looking for experienced and skilled Joiners to join our team in the north west area.
We will need the job to be priced from drawings and site visit.
This job is a 5 bed hmo in Atherton, wigan. We have other jobs lined up so looking for someone who can price the jobs and do each job For us.
The ideal candidates will possess a comprehensive range of joinery skills, from 1st fix to final fix, roofing, joists, refurbishment work, and MF ceilings. This role requires individuals who are self-motivated, able to work independently, and adept at problem-solving on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of joinery work including 1st fix, 2nd fix, final fix, roofing, joists, refurbishment work, and MF ceilings
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Use a variety of tools and equipment including nail guns and power tools
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Solve problems encountered during the course of work
- Work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience in all aspects of joinery
- Must own a comprehensive set of tools including nail guns and power tools
- Must have personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- own vehicle and valid driving licence
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From £22.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Manchester M46 0QD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Joinery: 6 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 6 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
