Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time skilled and dedicated Joiner/Carpenter to join our team second fixing conservatories and orangeries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and related trades plus possess good customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity for flexible hours of work on local residential projects - would suit semi-retired or to run alongside own work.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble timber components according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools
  • Install skirting boards, self-levelling compound to floors and any general finishing off
  • Perform any snagging
  • Lay laminate or floor tiles
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

  • Proven experience in carpentry or joinery within the construction industry
  • Skilled in fabrication, assembly, and installation of timber products
  • Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
  • Competent with power tools including drills, sanders, and saws
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project execution
  • Previous experience working on construction sites with exposure to construction painting is desirable
