Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking and be proficient in both the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for craftsmanship. The Joiner/Carpenter will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring high-quality finishes and durability in all projects.

Duties

  • Fabricate custom woodworking structures according to specifications.
  • Assemble components using various hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform joinery techniques to ensure strong and precise connections.
  • Collaborate with team members on project designs and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.
  • Assist with heavy lifting during the installation of cabinets and other structures.
  • Engage in additional carpentry tasks as required, including roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Skills

  • Proficient in fabrication and assembly techniques for cabinetry.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in woodworking.
  • Experience in carpentry and joinery practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction painting techniques is advantageous.
