About us: Warehouse 701 is a retail and trade business specialising in New and Used Building and Landscaping Materials as well as unique Furniture and Homeware to the public and trade.

We specialise in the reclamation and restoration of vintage furniture and building features. Our passion lies in preserving the past while ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and sustainability.

The Role: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Joiner / cabinet maker with flair to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of bringing new life to old treasures.

The full-time role is located in Rotherwas, Hereford, and offers to be part of the expanding and diverse Wye Valley Group.

This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to become part of a friendly, hard-working team.

This is a very rewarding role, working on some very interesting joinery and furniture projects.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, joinery / cabinet making.

This role requires precision, attention to detail and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

The Joiner will be responsible for restoration / repair of various types of furniture, along with creation of new items, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality. Their own creative inspiration a necessity of the role.

The successful candidate will assemble components using hand and power tools, ensuring accuracy in measurements, and maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

The ability to use initiative and to have a conscientious and positive approach will be required, as allocated projects will need to be completed from start to finish, with all aspects of each task undertaken.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking
  • Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and cabinetry construction methods
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to cabinet making
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Should have a positive approach and good problem-solving skills
