Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be proficient in a variety of construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, and requires a keen eye for detail and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Fabricate and assemble wooden structures such as door frames, window frames, and furniture.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process.
• Carry out joinery tasks with precision to meet project requirements.
• Paint surfaces as needed to achieve the desired finish.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
