We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our team.

Job Description
As a Joiner at T G Williams Builders Ltd, you will undertake a variety of joinery tasks to deliver high-quality finishes across multiple projects. This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A works-only vehicle will be provided to support your day-to-day duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut Roof Construction: Carry out the installation of cut roofs to a high standard, ensuring structural integrity and precision.
  • Kitchen Installation: Install fitted kitchens, including cabinets, worktops, and trim, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Skirting and Architrave: Fit skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing joinery to a professional standard.
  • Fire Door Installation: Install fire doors in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring proper fit, function, and certification.
  • Bespoke Joinery: Create and install custom joinery elements, such as shelving, window seats, and furniture.
  • Heritage Restoration: Perform traditional joinery work for heritage projects, preserving the authenticity and character of historical structures.
  • General Carpentry: Execute tasks such as framing, stud walls, and timber cladding as required on site.
  • Site Collaboration: Work closely with other trades and team members to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company and site safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a joiner, with a comprehensive skill set covering all aspects of joinery.
  • Essential: Demonstrated expertise in cut roof construction.
  • Knowledge of fire door regulations and experience with installation.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of joinery tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
