Markfield Woodworking Machinery Ltd has been trading for over 40 years, and our dedicated staff pride themselves on delivering a professional and personal service to customers every time. Based in North Leicestershire, we are a leading machinery dealer supplying equipment throughout the UK. With a fantastic reputation in the market and partnerships with some of the world’s leading manufacturers, we are continuing to grow and are looking for an Installation / Service Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As an Installation / Service Engineer at Markfield Woodworking Machinery, you will play a key role in installing and servicing edge banding machines across the UK. You will be part of a fast-paced and evolving team, providing vital support to our customers to ensure their equipment is operating to the highest standards.

If you have experience with edge banding machines, this will be a significant advantage. This diverse role offers plenty of opportunities for growth, and you’ll be encouraged to progress within the company as we continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installations: Conduct the installation of woodworking machinery, particularly edge banding machines, at customer sites.
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair technical issues on-site, ensuring machinery operates to the highest standards. Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage professionally with customers, representing MWM in a positive light. Provide training on machinery operation, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and customer communications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house team to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations while working on customer sites and in our workshop.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally work in the workshop (LE67 1TU) as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
