Overview

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our maintenance team, delivering reactive repairs and planned maintenance works across schools and other public sector buildings.

The role involves a mix of day-to-day repairs, fault finding, and minor works, requiring a high standard of workmanship and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive maintenance and repair works within properties
  • Complete first and second fix joinery tasks as required
  • Undertake general multi-trade works including basic plastering, tiling and minor plumbing
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Work across schools and public sector buildings
  • Operate safely within occupied and live environments
  • Complete company paperwork including timesheets, work reports and materials requests

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in property maintenance and repair works
  • Strong ability in:
  • Joinery (essential)
  • General multi-trade works
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, professional and organised

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 Joinery minimum (Level 3 preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS check required (due to working within schools)
  • Must provide 2 references
