Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various wooden structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as industrial woodworking machines. The Joiner will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Spray painting experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and cabinets.
  • Use hand tool, power tools and woodworking machinery effectively to complete joinery tasks.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Plumb installations as necessary to ensure accuracy in alignment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery relevant to joinery work.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
