Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiners to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and possess the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures such as doors, windows, and frameworks.
- Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and structural integrity.
- Carry out electrical installations as required, adhering to safety standards.
- Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with precision.
- Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
- Conduct masonry work when needed to support structural projects.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times.
- Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques with experience in joinery.
- Knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous.
- Competence in painting and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in joinery work.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble various structures efficiently.
- Experience with roofing systems is beneficial.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Basic masonry skills are a plus for integrated projects.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
