Carpentry Mentor & Skills Trainer

We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter who genuinely enjoys helping others grow. In this role, you’ll work closely with apprentices on a one‑to‑one basis, guiding them through every stage of their carpentry journey — from roofs and stairs to finishing work.

What the role involves

  • Visiting apprentices on-site in a company Luton van (mostly within 100 miles)
  • Occasional overnight stays — normally four nights per month, grouped into one week (all costs covered)
  • Providing hands-on training, support and encouragement
  • Uploading evidence and progress updates to an online portfolio
  • One dedicated work-from-home day each week to complete admin and portfolio tasks
  • Training provided to help you develop your teaching and coaching skills

What we’re looking for

  • A well-rounded Carpenter with experience across all major carpentry disciplines
  • Someone patient, supportive and committed to helping apprentices succeed
  • Comfortable using computers and online systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
