  • Measure and prepare spaces accurately for carpet and flooring installation using schematics and technical drawings
  • Remove old flooring materials carefully, ensuring minimal disruption to the space
  • Cut, fit, and secure carpets using hand tools such as knives, trowels, and power tools for precise results
  • Use carpentry skills to create seamless edges, thresholds, and transitions between different flooring types
  • Apply construction painting techniques when needed to ensure clean finishes around edges or baseboards
  • Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure installations meet safety standards and client specifications
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols
