Full job description

We are looking for a practical minded individual to join our busy floor fitting team, operating from our Carpet Warehouse in Bury St Edmunds. You will work alongside and assist one of our existing carpet fitters, gaining on the job experience, as well developing your skills with experienced in house professionals. You will need to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately, following plans and instructions that have been provided to you.

The job is physically demanding and involves heavy lifting. You will need a polite and pleasant manner as you will be interacting with our clients within their homes or on sites where lots is going on. You will prepare rooms for installation and be responsible for cleaning at the end of the job.

You must have a current driving license and ideally live in or near Bury St Edmunds.
