Overview
We are seeking a full time employed carpet fitter. This is not a sub contract position and the candidate must hold a valid driving licence. The ideal candidate will be employed.; The candidate must have experience in all aspects of carpet fitting, measuring and surveys. Ideally experience fitting Altro & Poly flooring including welding. Uniform and van will be provided, punctual and a positive attitude is imperative towards customers and tasks set out in installing flooring. Good customer service skills and a clean and tidy appearance is a must. Sub contractor position would be considered depending on rates and vehicle.

Duties

• Carry out measuring on site in private homes and business premises
• Preparing orders and placing orders from the factory
• Collecting carpets from the factory and arriving on site on time
• Installing all types of carpets, domestic and commercial

Skills

• Fitting all types of carpets to all aspects of properties
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Full experience of all carpet fitting
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team
