We are a fast-growing flooring company covering Lancashire and the surrounding areas, specialising in carpet, vinyl and laminate flooring for domestic properties.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking for experienced Carpet & Vinyl Fitters to join our installation team. We are seeking reliable professionals who take pride in their workmanship and can represent our company to a high standard when working in customers’ homes.

The Role

You will be responsible for installing carpet, underlay and vinyl flooring in domestic properties across the Lancashire area. Our installations are primarily residential, so a professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing carpet, underlay and vinyl flooring in domestic properties
• Accurate measuring, cutting and fitting of materials
• Preparing subfloors where required to ensure a high-quality finish
• Trimming doors and completing finishing details where necessary
• Lifting and removing old flooring where required
• Ensuring installations are completed to a high professional standard
• Working efficiently to complete jobs on schedule
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment in customers’ homes
• Representing the company professionally when interacting with customers
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard before leaving site

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience fitting carpet and vinyl in domestic settings
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced installation schedule
• Clean, tidy and respectful when working in customers’ homes
• Punctual, reliable and professional at all times
• Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads

Requirements

• Own van in good working condition
• Full UK driving licence with valid insurance
• Own professional fitting tools (some tools can be supplied if required)
• Portfolio or examples of previous work
• Minimum of two professional references
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
