Experienced Vinyl Floor Layer (CIS/Self-Employed) – Teesside & Newcastle

Location: Teesside & Newcastle (Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington, Redcar, Newcastle and surrounding areas)

SMC Carpets is an established flooring contractor specialising in social housing. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for experienced Vinyl Floor Layers to support our expanding workload across Teesside and the North East.

The Role

Working on occupied and void social housing properties, you’ll undertake:

  • Safety vinyl flooring installations
  • Level Access Shower
  • Cap & cove work
  • Floor preparation and latex screeding
  • Responsive repairs and planned works

Requirements

  • Proven experience fitting safety vinyl flooring
  • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Own van, tools and PPE
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently
  • Social housing experience is preferred but not essential
