Wrights Flooring (Yorkshire) Ltd is a well-established, family-run flooring company with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality flooring installations across Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced and reliable Floor Fitter to join our friendly team.

We work on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, installing everything from luxury vinyl tiles and carpets to sheet vinyl and safety flooring. We take pride in our workmanship and customer service, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.

The Role

As a Floor Fitter, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring installations to our customers, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Installing LVT (including herringbone and bespoke designs), carpets, vinyl and other flooring products.

● Preparing subfloors, including smoothing, repairs and moisture testing where required.

● Measuring, cutting and fitting flooring accurately and efficiently.

● Working from job sheets and plans to ensure installations are completed correctly.

● Delivering excellent customer service while working in customers’ homes and commercial premises.

● Maintaining high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and health & safety.

● Looking after company tools, equipment and vehicles.

● Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

● Previous experience fitting a range of flooring products, particularly LVT and carpets.

● Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing first-class work.

● A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

● The ability to work independently and manage your workload.

● A full UK driving licence.

● Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
