The Role

As a Commercial Floorlayer, you will handle high-traffic installations across sectors including

healthcare, education, retail, and office spaces. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of

the floor—from technical subfloor assessment to the final weld.

Key Responsibilities:

● Technical Installation: Expert fitting of commercial-grade materials including

Safety Vinyl (cap and cove), Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), Carpet Tiles

● Subfloor Prep: Executing high-standard surface preparation, including mechanical

grinding, DPM application, and smoothing compounds.

● Blueprints & Scaling: Reading site plans and executing layouts with 100%

accuracy to minimize waste.

● Health & Safety: Maintaining a pristine safety record, ensuring all work adheres to

RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and site-specific PPE

requirements.

● Liaison: great communication skills

Candidate Requirements

● Proven Commercial Experience: Significant experience in safety flooring

including cap and cove, and LVT installations as well as carpets and nosings.

● Driving License: Full UK license required for travel to various regional and

national sites.

● Attention to Detail: A "right first time" mentality. In commercial settings, callbacks

are costly; we hire those who obsess over the finish.

● Professionalism: You represent the brand. We need someone reliable, articulate,

and disciplined.

● CSCS Card: Valid CSCS card is essential (Blue or Gold preferred).
