Location: Stockport, Manchester and surrounding areas.

We are a reputable carpet & flooring company with branches across the UK. Due to significant growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced domestic carpet fitter / floor layer to join a well-established team.

The role is centered around ensuring customers receive the best service possible by putting their needs first. You will be a highly motivated approachable person with the ability to build up a rapport with customers.

In order to be successful for the Carpet Fitter / Floor Layer role you need to have the following skills :

  • Good practical skills
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills to work out measurements and costs
  • To be physically fit to carry heavy carpet rolls
  • A polite and pleasant manner for dealing with customers
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately
  • To be aware of health and safety issues
  • Full UK driver license and own van.
  • At least 2 years previous experience within a Carpet Fitter / Floor layer role

For the Carpet Fitter / Floor layer role you will be working between 1-2 days a week within a good friendly atmosphere. The store is based at a good location with easy transport access. We offer this role as a regular sub-contractor role for the right candidate.
