Carpet & Vinyl Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Carpet & Vinyl Fitter to join our busy carpet and flooring company in East London.

The successful candidate will have excellent practical skills, take pride in their work and have a polite and pleasant manner when dealing with customers.

Requirements

  • Carpet and vinyl fitting experience is essential
  • Good practical and finishing skills
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately
  • Professional, polite and friendly manner when dealing with customers
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Own transport preferred
  • Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas preferred

Responsibilities

  • Professional fitting of carpets and vinyl flooring
  • Prepare rooms and surfaces prior to installation
  • Measure and cut materials accurately
  • Move furniture as required
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working area
  • Hoover and clean up after installations
  • Deal professionally and courteously with customers
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality
