We are looking for an experienced, self-employed Carpet Fitter to join our busy local team on a regular sub-contract basis.Role Overview

• Position: Self-Employed Carpet Fitter
• Job Type: Sub-contract / Freelance
• Work Type: Residential and commercial carpet and flooring installations

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, and install carpets, underlay, and gripper rods.
• Prepare and inspect subfloors to ensure clean, level surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of old floor coverings safely.
• Handle furniture moving and door trimming when required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in carpet and flooring fitting (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Your own professional tools and reliable transport/van.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
