Join the team that keeps the UK moving – Become a Cash-In Transit Driver with Notemachine UK Ltd

At Notemachine UK Ltd (a proud member of the Brink’s company), we don’t just deliver cash to our customer sites – we keep communities connected. As one of the UK’s leading cash management and ATM service providers with over 15,000 ATMs across UK and Europe, we proudly support our customers by delivering seamless cash access and tailored solutions. We proudly support financial institutions, retailers and corporate clients. We’re a trusted name with a presence all over the UK.

Due to our continuous growth at Notemachine, we are seeking skilled, trustworthy, and safety-conscious Cash-In Transit Drivers to join our team across our 3 depots (Glasgow, Manchester, and Thurrock). If you have experience in transport, logistics, field operations, or security – you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

What you will be doing

· Safely transport cash, coin, and other valuables between our customers’ sites, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly

· CIT Drivers will perform first line maintenance on customers’ sites to ensure the ATM is left looking, clean, tidy, professional and in working order

· Replenish ATMs and cash machines in a professional manner to ensure communities have access to cash

· Carry out daily vehicle checks, report any issues immediately, and ensure we are maintaining high standards of safety and reliability

· CIT Driver will follow strict security protocols and company procedures to protect yourself, your team and our clients’ assets

· CIT Drivers will liaise with dispatchers and clients to ensure schedules run on tie and expectations are met.

· Maintain accurate records of each transaction, including the amount of cash being transported and the location details

· Ability to handle any unforeseen situations in a professional manner promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the delivery schedules

What makes you a great fit

· Full clean driving licence

· Previous experience in security, field service, logistics, or similar (SIA is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided)

· Great attention to detail, reliable and comfortable working independently

· Physically fit and confident handling valuables safely and securely

· Adaptable, with a flexible attitude to start as early from 04:30am, weekends, and occasional holiday shift to align with business needs

· Must not have any live County Court Judgements (CCJs), live Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs or known as in Scotland as Trust Deed) or within last 10 years, or have bankruptcy declarations

· 2-years commercial driving experience (required) – ideally driving a 3.5 tonne van or similar vehicle

Why you’ll love working with us

We believe in looking after our drivers by offering a balanced approach to scheduling. Therefore, we offer the below:

· Shorter working week: 44 hour working week across 7-day period – this is a reduction from the old 47 hour week

· Advanced Rota: Advanced visibility of your working schedule at least 2 weeks in advance – giving you plenty of notice to balance work, family, and personal commitments

· Training: A full comprehensive training and support: we’ll fund and train you to a world class standard for your SIA (CViT) licence to set you up for success

· Stability and security: Permanent, full-time position with a starting salary of £34,395 per year

· Equipment: Full uniform and equipment provided to allow you to do your job safely

The benefits of working with us

· Life insurance (4x annual salary)

· Employee wellbeing programme with 24-hour confidential counselling and more

· Company pension scheme and on-site parking

· Generous holiday entitlement – starting at 23 days (rising with service)

At Notemachine, you’ll be part of a team that values professionalism and integrity. Whether you come from Security, transport, or another industry entirely – if you’re reliable, motivated, and proud of a job well done, we’ll help you build a lasting career with real purpose.
