Full job description

We are looking for an apprentice, trainee or part qualified accountant who is looking to start or continue their studies up to at least AAT/CAT qualified in a friendly and efficient high street office environment.

Must have good grades, be well organised, motivated and have basic computer skills. Prior use of excel would be beneficial. CV’s without individual subject grades or professional qualifications (if applicable) will be disregarded.

You must intend to drive in the near future if you do not already, as part of the job at a future date would include visiting clients.

This is not a position where you can work from home as you will need to will be available to meet current and prospective clients.

Full time permanent role

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm

Apprentice starting salary is £18,000. Negotiable for more experienced candidates.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Collecting, sorting and recording information

- Book-keeping

- VAT Returns

- CIS Returns

- Processing payrolls

- Answering phone calls
