What’s a HOP Master?

As a HOP Master, you’re part of the restaurant management team, supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager to run a brilliant restaurant.

You’ll lead from the front: Getting stuck in during service whilst keeping the team energised, customers happy, food flying out quickly and standards high.

You’ll get involved in:

This isn’t a role where you stand on the sidelines. HOP Masters are hands-on leaders who get stuck in and lead by example.

  • Love working in a busy, high-energy environment
  • Know how to lead and motivate a team
  • Have some understanding of stock management, compliance and cost control
  • Are confident communicating with both customers and colleagues
  • Stay calm, positive and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Have a genuine passion for great food and hospitality

Experience or knowledge of Vietnamese food and culture is a bonus, but definitely not essential.

Why HOP?

This isn’t just another Supervisor job. We want HOP Masters who can grow with us.

We invest in our people and give you the opportunity to build a genuine career in restaurant management, while working somewhere that celebrates personality and individuality.

You’ll get:

  • Competitive hourly pay

  • An additional day of holiday for every two years you’re with HOP
  • A clear and structured career development pathway
  • Team events and parties
  • 50% discount when dining with family or friends
  • Employee referral rewards
  • Flexible pay through Wagestream
  • Gifts and surprises for special occasions

Our Story

HOP was inspired by founder Paul Hopper’s travels through Vietnam and his experience of the incredible food, energy and hospitality of Saigon.

Since opening our first restaurant in 2015, we’ve been on a mission to bring the fresh, authentic flavours and energy of Vietnam to the UK – served at serious speed.

Our culture is built around being thoughtful, energetic and unapologetically individual. We want people to come to work as themselves, have fun, work hard and be proud of what they do.

The only thing we put in a box is our food.

Ready to Lead, Grow & Thrive?

If you’ve got the experience, energy and attitude to become a brilliant HOP Master, we want to hear from you.

Apply now and tell us whether you’re interested in Tottenham Court Road or Kings Cross.
