Full job description

E-commerce Catalogue & Marketplace Manager

Location: Park Royal, London, NW10
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Working arrangement: Office-based
Salary: £28,000 to £34,000 per year

About The Role

Digital Devices Ltd is looking for a commercially minded E-commerce Catalogue & Marketplace Manager to take day-to-day ownership of our catalogue sales channel.

This is not simply a data-entry or product-uploading position. The successful candidate will identify commercially viable products, create and improve listings, monitor pricing and availability, and investigate what is or is not generating sales.

You will work with manufacturers, distributors and internal teams to develop the catalogue into a commercially successful sales channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day ownership of product catalogue and sales activity
  • Research and select products based on demand, margin, availability and commercial potential
  • Create accurate, high-quality product listings, including descriptions, specifications, images and relevant search terms
  • Check for duplicate, discontinued or end-of-life products before listing
  • Monitor competitor pricing and ensure our offers remain commercially viable
  • Work directly with manufacturers and distributors to obtain product, lifecycle, stock and pricing information
  • Track listing performance, enquiries, orders, sales and gross profit
  • Investigate why products are not selling and recommend practical improvements
  • Maintain accurate product and pricing information within company systems and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate with purchasing, sales and operations teams to resolve availability, pricing and fulfilment issues
  • Produce concise weekly reports covering progress, results, issues and proposed actions

Essential Experience And Skills

  • Experience managing product listings, e-commerce catalogues, online marketplaces or digital sales channels
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
  • Confident researching and comparing products, prices and competitors
  • Commercial awareness, the ability to consider demand, margin and sales potential rather than focusing only on upload volume
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with manufacturers, distributors and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, investigate problems and take ownership through to resolution
  • Organised, analytical and comfortable working with a large product range

Desirable experience

  • Experience in IT hardware, consumer electronics or technology distribution
  • Experience working with marketplace or procurement-platform catalogues
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle, stock availability and pricing analysis

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
