Catering Assistant

We have a permanent Catering Assistant role to join our team based at Caterham Dene Hospital.

  • £13.04 per hour, £25,495.00 per annum, pro-rata

  • 20 hours per week, expected shift 10:00 - 14:00 however will need to be available between 7:00 - 19:00 Monday - Sunday.

  • DBS check will be conducted, training will be provided

Key Responsibilities

  • The Catering Assistant is responsible for the provision of a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.

  • Duties include, but are not limited to, food preparation, cooking, serving and presentation, cleaning of crockery, cutlery and equipment, rotation of stock, maintenance of food hygiene regulations and cash handling.

  • No formal qualification is required as full training will be given but Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred.

Where you’ll be

Caterham Dene Hospital

You may be required to travel to Dorking, Caterham or West Moseley sites in an emergency.
