Full job description

The Catering Department at Churchill College currently operates 7 days a week, catering for around 1000 covers per day via its Cafeteria & Banquet operation. Term time Catering sees us focus on providing a varied menu for our members and a full range of options for Conferencing and Banqueting is maintained throughout the year. The covers for banquets range from 3 to 452, Garden parties run to 650.

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Chef to join our Catering team.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Cookery and some experience of cooking, with a willingness and ability to acquire new skills.

You will complete a Commis Chef, Level 2 Apprenticeship at Cambridge Regional College alongside this role.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week according to a rota,
