Full job description

Express Catering are seeking reliable, hard working Catering Assistants to join our mobile catering team. This role involves working in a fast paced environment within our catering trailer providing excellent food and customer service in Gosford Forest Park and also at various locations and events throughout Northern Ireland..

Requirements:

  • Availability to work weekends and bank holidays (essential)
  • Previous catering or food handling experience is desirable - full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking food to a high standard.
  • Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the trailer, equipment and work areas.
  • Following food safety procedures, including HACCP and stock rotation
  • Taking customer orders accurately and handling payments (cash & card)
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
