CATERING ASSISTANT - NORTH LONDON


We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in London N22 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent.

Starting September 2026

The role is 17.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 2:30pm.

We play an important part in students learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle.

What you will be doing:-

  • general kitchen duties
  • putting away deliveries
  • food preparation
  • serving, cleaning and washing up
  • assisting with inventory management
  • maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
  • speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
  • undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team


This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
