Event Activity Leader – Bubble Football, Sports Days & Combat Archery

Location: Reading, Bracknell & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £20–£25 per hour + Fuel Expenses Paid
Hours: Weekend Work Available (Saturday & Sunday)
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Have access to your own reliable vehicle.
  • Be willing to travel to event locations within approximately one hour of Reading.
  • Be confident working independently and leading activities for groups of children and adults.
  • Be energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with participants of all ages.
  • Be available to work some weekends.

All fuel expenses are paid.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our growing team delivering exciting activities including Bubble Football, Sports Days, Combat Archery, and a variety of other event experiences.

This is a fun and rewarding role where you'll be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers while representing the Excel Activity Groups brand to the highest standard.

Most events are delivered independently, so we're looking for people who are confident, organised, and enjoy taking responsibility.

Whether you're studying, working part-time, involved in sports coaching, or simply looking for flexible weekend work, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to event locations and set up equipment before activities begin.
  • Deliver fun, safe, and engaging activity sessions for children and adults.
  • Lead groups confidently while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly.
  • Represent Excel Activity Groups professionally at all times.
  • Pack down equipment and ensure venues are left tidy following events.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and participants throughout the event.
  • Work independently to ensure successful event delivery.

  • Event management.
  • Customer-facing roles.
  • Teaching, childcare, or youth work.
  • Fitness instruction or personal training.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS or DBS Certificate.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Sports coaching qualifications.
  • Event or activity leadership experience.

Additional Information
