Park/Leisure Manager – Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park, Hemel Hempstead

What You’ll Do:

As Park / Leisure Manager, you’ll drive the overall success of our park. From delivering amazing guest service to maximising our business potential, you’ll lead with enthusiasm and expertise, making sure our guests have an outstanding experience every time they visit. Your role will be central to ensuring safety, smooth operations, and a fantastic environment for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every visitor enjoys a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience. Be present and approachable, ready to address guest needs, manage feedback, and deliver outstanding service.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of park operations, from opening to closing, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and rigorously maintain health and safety standards.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead by example, getting hands-on when needed. Partner with the Assistant Manager to recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a high-energy and supportive work culture.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Prioritise the safety of guests and team members by enforcing all health and safety protocols. This includes conducting test drills, providing regular safety training, and ensuring appropriate incident management processes are in place.
  • Financial & Performance Goals: Monitor key business metrics, including revenue targets, attendance, and operating costs. Look for opportunities to boost revenue, manage budgets effectively, and control costs.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the park’s appearance and facilities are maintained to the highest standard, including preventive maintenance of equipment, catering operations, and party services.
  • Team Communication & Performance Management: Communicate clearly with team members, setting expectations and handling feedback promptly. Oversee performance management, addressing attendance, punctuality, and any individual concerns.
  • Fostering a Vibrant Work Environment: Build a positive, energetic atmosphere for staff and guests alike. Your leadership will inspire an exciting, safe, and inclusive space for everyone.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, ideally in a leisure, retail, customer service or entertainment setting.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young workforce.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail for grievances.
  • Commercial awareness and comfort with budgeting, cost management, and performance metrics.
  • A commitment to health and safety excellence, both in practice and in coaching your team.
